Home Buyer tax credit extends one more year for Armed Service Members

Qualified service members of the military, foreign service, or intelligence who have served overseas at least 90 days or more between January 1, 2009 to April 30, 2010 have until April 30, 2011 to enter a sales contract and close escrow before June 30, 2011. The $8,000 first time home buyers and $6,500 current home buyer credit applies.

Federal Home Buyer Tax Credit deadline

If you are one of the lucky ones to open escrow today (this being the last day) and to close before June 30, 2010, you will qualify for up to $8,000 for First Time Home Buyers and $6,500 for Current Home Owners. Conditions apply, consult your tax consultant.
